Kenitra-Marrakech high-speed rail line: Moroccan STAM wins 2.4 billion dirham contract
The National Railways Office (ONCF) revealed, on Wednesday, November 20, the identity of the winner of lot 3 bis, relating to earthworks, civil engineering structures, restoration of communications and fencing. This contract, which is an integral part of the Kenitra-Marrakech high-speed rail line project, was awarded to the Moroccan Agricultural Works Company (STAM). Worth 2.42 billion dirhams, STAM’s offer was the lowest bidder, well below an initial estimate set at 3 billion dirhams, and lower than that proposed by the three other candidates in the running (taking into account national preference).
