Housing assistance: demand on the rise, but for which products?
A year has passed since the launch of the direct housing assistance program. “The enthusiasm around this program has been considerable, particularly with its extension to Moroccans residing abroad (MRE), who represent a significant portion of the beneficiaries,” writes the daily Les Inspirations Éco in its February 3 edition. Of the 63,000 beneficiaries, 25% are MRE, 32% of whom are young people. Regarding the distribution of aid, 63% of beneficiaries received a subsidy of 70,000 dirhams, while 37% received aid of 100,000 dirhams.
